Overview
The Vandalia Lake is a 660-acre lake with 12 miles of shoreline, located four miles northwest of Vandalia on Illinois Route 185 with an entrance to the marina, boat dock, campground and beach. The marina has boater's licenses available, plus gasoline.

There are four large pavilions, also shaded tables throughout the camping area. Playground equipment is located near the Vandalia Lions Pavilion and also in beach area. For group outings and pavilion reservations, contact Vandalia City Hall at (618) 283-1196.
